Week 6 Power Rankings: "Most people fail not because of a lack desire but because of a lack of commitment" - Vince Lombardi

Week 6 was the week of the subs, including the first ever trade of a sub just prior to game time. Red, Gray, and Baby Blue all had subs last week and we only had 5 goalies for a 6 team league, however Royal Blue only having two active rostered skaters show was able to trade with Red for their sub (terms unknown) after a late pull the chute by Officer CCM Grip with a 5 pm email.

With all of the new faces in the locker room, we were down one girl as a result of the Director of Player Safety putting the kibosh on girls in the locker room. Despite the attempts to enforce the new rule put into place, we managed to be joined by Brando's foreign exchange kids (one of which was a girl). I am not sure if the commissioner is losing control of the league but it is time for us to get right back to where we started from (Jason please work on your clapping).

Now on to the rankings -

  1. Green Team - Manages to hold on to the #1 spot in the rankings however there was a definite lack of commitment as the starting goalie was not in attendance this week.   Will the pressure of the league commissioner role get in the way of self-proclaimed team captain, or will Brownie right the ship to keep this team together and on track winning games.

  2. Black Team - Continues to roll and has some great leadership from Bos and Wong.   They only gave up 1 goal last week, however ended up losing that game going 3-1 on the week but are tied with Green in the standings.

  3. Subs - the hold down the third spot this week as without them last week would have been a bust.

  4. Baby Blue Team - Seems to be hitting their stride as of late and I like the direction this team is headed.

Unranked this week is Royal Blue, Red, and Gray and at the bottom of the rankings this week is Volk's hacking, Potty's new nose, and all the players who missed last week.
